See you soon!

see you soonFor the past four weeks, we have been bringing to you guys information on how to heal our environment, improve our environmental policies as well as fight all those anti-environmentalist who are killing our beloved planet. It’s time to thank all of you for taking the time to check out our blog, follow us on Twitter and to hopefully follow the suggestions that we have provided you all with. The purpose of this blog was to demonstrate how our inactivity and lack of political presence contribute to the slow decay of our environment. Thus helping others understand that we gotta take action if we want to keep breathing clean air!

Many of our arguments dealt with ridiculous policies that are still being pushed in Congress so that the EPA, can lose power in the monitoring of our waterways and landscapes. Our purpose in exposing these policies was so that we can take action and make a difference, we are not all moved by money and greed, some of us value more important things, such as leaving a healthy planet for future generations and enjoying a nice healthy planet while we can. We need to push hard so that as we said in a previous post we stop using fossil fuels, justifying the reasoning’s behind the vetoing of many, many environmental projects, and justifying the un-protection of our waterways. We have to remember that if we the people that care don’t do anything to heal the environment, then we are helping those who don’t,  finish killing it faster!

One of our greatest and most rewarding surprises during this Blog project was the amount of people that followed our blog. When we started our blog was very dull and some could say our post were long and tedious to read, but as the days went by we started making things more interesting and followers started coming and we felt so happy and proud that people actually wanted to read what we had to say. We only hope that you guys are applying the tips we advised in your daily routines.

proactiveThe biggest difficulties we had as a group for this blog, were: first, we were not sure exactly how long and formal the blog had to be and at the beginning the blog was very essay formatted and very plain. After some really harsh criticism from our professor, we rearranged the format, design, theme, tag line and heading of our blog and started adding more visuals on each post. The second difficulty was adding the twitter widget, all three of us are very technically awkward and had no clue how to do it–it took us about a week to get it working, but thanks to google we got it! Lol. The third difficulty was obviously coming up with new material that supported our claims without sounding cliched or boring and keep being consistent. But with a lot of team work and communication we overcame all of our difficulties and manage to have a great blog, that many of you enjoy.

So how do we end this? Well, we hope you have learned various new earth-friendly techniques. We hope that we make an influence during your daily routines. As you will note, the smallest act can make a difference. All you have to do is put some effort (this doesn’t require gas) and be motivated (this either) to try your best. So remember, make friends with trees! Soooooo…
