Let’s get down and dirty!!

gardening is fun

Are you bored? Seriously, what are you doing with your life right now? All you’re probably doing is staring at your phone as if it’ll give you life answers… (It’s ok we all do it!). On that note, we recommend that you get off your butt and go to your closes flower shop, buy a tree AND… wait for it… PLANT A TREE!!!!

Trees are ever so good for our environment!! Why you may ask? Because I said so, THAT’S WHY! Just kidding (not really), but you should do it anyways.

One reason planting a tree is good for the environment is because trees cool down cities. According to Tree People, the “average temperatures in Los Angeles have risen 6°F in the last 50 years as tree coverage has declined and the number of heat-absorbing roads and buildings has increased. The trees cool the city by up to 10°F, by shading our homes and streets, breaking up urban “heat islands” and releasing water vapor into the air through their leaves.” So before you start complaining about how HOT it is on a summer day, you should go try to plant a tree.

Another reason why it is good to plant a tree is because it relaxes you! It puts you at Zen and connects you with mother earth! and even though the weather is changing, there are a few seasonal flowers that can bloom in your backyard, especially in the fall; like Perennial sunflowers or Asters! So Get down and get dirty–PLANTING! Hahaha.

Looking for more reasons to plant a tree? I know you do, which is why you should check out the article below for more information! So plant a tree, because in conclusion, it is fun and you have nothing else to do. By the way, did I mention you could grow fruits on trees? THE END.

Environmental Careers

For anyone who loves the great outdoors or who wants to be active in keeping our environment clean, there are a growing number of careers in environmental science. These careers focus on the best ways to protect our natural resources, control pollution, and repair damaged natural areas. A lot of these jobs are very hands on. I myself have done some hands on environmental work. Although it was hard work, it was also a lot of fun and a great learning experience. If you would like to learn more, you can go to college express.com.
